IPMS Richmond is the home for the scale modeling community in the greater Richmond area. We meet in a relaxed atmosphere that encourages learning and sharing. Our monthly meetings feature an opportunity to show and describe personal builds as well as speaker-led demonstrations on a variety of topics.
Old Dominion Open (ODO)
The ODO has been a Richmond tradition for decades and is one of the largest scale modeling shows on the east coast. Find out more on the ODO page.
IPMS/USA Chapter since 1976
The International Plastic Modelers’ Society (IPMS) was created by modelers as a means to help one another learn model building and acquire not only basic, but advanced skills that increase the enjoyment of the hobby. The membership extends across many international as well as demographic lines. IPMS/USA is the United States Branch of the International Plastic Modelers' Society.
Meetings & Location
Meetings are held monthly on Monday nights. See our Events page for exact dates, because the schedule does change. Meetings start at 6:30pm and end no later than 9:00pm.
