ODO 2025 — IPMS Richmond

IPMS Richmond would like to send out a hearty THANK YOU to everyone who attended and supported the 2025 Old Dominion Open. We'd like to aknowledge our great vendors, the benefactors who donated prize drawing kits and merchandise, our visiting hobby clubs, the patient and diligent judges who officiated the contest and its huge variety of incredible models, and IPMS Richmond members that worked hard behind the scenes on set up Friday and show day Saturday. We also appreciate our members that manned the registration, general admission and information tables on Show Day. Lastly, thank you ODO Chairman Richard Leininger, Vendor Manager Craig Norris and Head Judge Mark Groth for the many hours invested in making the 2025 ODO an amazingly outstanding event.

On Saturday, a total of 1,039 patrons attended (836 general admission plus 203 model contest entrants). That figure does not include the vendors and IPMS-R workers present. On the contest tables sat 960 registered models spread across 80 categories.

This year’s show featured 46 vendors offering 140 tables laden with model kits, books, accessories, paint, and hobby supplies.
